Bryan cut his teeth in his home town of Tokyo Japan under the early instruction of legendary trainer John "The Hammer" Henry. The son of a single mother and an American soldier he grew up as part of two worlds, never really belonging to either, and with a giant chip on his shoulder that played itself out in the ring.
His personal soft spoken nature contrasting so shockingly with his in ring persona quickly had him dubbed the "Wolfman" for his reckless in ring style and explosive backstage behavior. The near suicidal ring work earned him a reputation as a ringdevil and started him down the path towards an impressive, if short career.... until The Hammer took a personal interest in his future.
Under John's care he soon began to transform himself gaining a wide range of technical skills that he blended with his high octane offensive style to a fine complement that soon attracted the notice of talent scouts from Diamond Elite Wrestling.
